This policy describes what Qleerly does with your data. It is written from what the service actually does, not from a template.
Qleerly AI AB (reg. no. 559595-0246), Rombäck 481, 841 74 Fränsta, Sweden, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | When you create an account | To identify your account and send sign-in links |
| Password hash | If you set a password | To sign you in. We store a scrypt hash, never the password itself |
| Session cookie | When signed in | To keep you signed in. Named qs, HttpOnly and Secure |
| Anonymous cookie | On first use without an account | To count free answers. Named qa, a random id with no identity attached |
| IP address | When you request a sign-in link | To detect abuse of the sign-in form |
| Truncated IP hash | On each answer | To apply the daily free limit. We store a shortened hash, not the address |
| Your conversations | When signed in | So you can return to them. Exportable and deletable by you at any time |
| Usage metadata | On each answer | Token counts, cost, latency, which model answered |
| Billing data | If you subscribe | Held by Paddle. We store only a customer reference, your plan and its renewal date |
When you are signed in, your conversations are saved to your account so that you can come back to them, on any device. They are stored on our server in Sweden, and only you can read them — every request is checked against the account that owns the conversation.
You can take them with you. Export everything you have written as a file at any time, from your account page. Delete a single conversation, or erase all of them at once, and they are gone from our database — not hidden, not archived.
If you use Qleerly without an account, nothing you write is saved at all.
Our usage log records how many tokens a request used and what it cost — never the text. We do not store card numbers. We do not run advertising scripts, and no one but Qleerly and the model provider ever sees what you write to the assistant. The only third-party scripts the site loads are Google Analytics and Paddle's checkout, and Paddle's loads only when you open the checkout.
| Processor | What they handle |
|---|---|
| OpenRouter, and the model provider it routes to | Your messages, in order to generate an answer |
| Resend | Your email address, to deliver sign-in links |
| Paddle | Payment, as merchant of record. Paddle is the seller on your receipt |
| Google Analytics | Which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit, with your IP address anonymized before Google stores it — never your conversations, which Analytics never sees |
Qleerly routes your message through OpenRouter to a language model. OpenRouter states that it does not log prompts or completions by default. The provider that runs the model has its own policy, and some providers may retain or train on prompts. We do not currently restrict routing to providers that refuse to store data, because doing so would remove most of the models that keep Qleerly free to try.
Do not send information to Qleerly that you would not want processed by a third-party model provider.
If you are in the EU or UK you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and its data to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will act within one month.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), and you may instead complain to the authority in the country where you live.
Qleerly sets two cookies of its own, and neither is used for advertising or
for tracking across other sites. qs keeps you signed in.
qa is a random id that counts your free answers so the limit
works without an account. Clearing them signs you out and resets that count.
Google Analytics sets its own measurement cookies to recognize a repeat visit to this site. Your IP address is anonymized before Google stores it, and Analytics never receives what you write to the assistant.
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and we tell account holders by email.
